Gran Turismo 5 1031 cars? WHAT A LOAD OF BS!

I was really considering not even buying Forza 3 but GT5 is one big dissapointment for a game in the making so long they didn't even have customizations on the car that can even go up against Forza 3 and the damage is crap.

Look at the damn car list!

GT5 must rececyle the same car and make a different version of it that looks exactly the same almost 3 times, different racing versions , its total bs. A car can be considered different even if its the same model, but only if its another a year and actually looks different, other then that its like driving the same looking thing.

The amount of times GT5 repeats a car with a new paint job for the racing version is pathetic, not only that but they have several versions of the exact same looking model and say its different...what a fraud. GT5 is crap, the *** cars especially are just rows of cars that look practically the same, only sometimes you will notice a skyline or impreza actually looking different to be considered a different car but other then that its rows of the same model.

In Forza 3 they only repeat a car once or twice, and they always look different, they only do 1 or 2 racing versions of one model if they do any at all. For all the times GT5 does it its horrible.

27 are S2000s (2.66%)
30 are NSXs (2.96%)
59 are Skyline GT-Rs (5.81%)
18 are Z33/Z34 (1.77%)
27 are Lancers (2.66%)
33 are MX-5s (3.25%)
31 are RX-7s (3.05%)

These stats only skim the surface, there are legions of other cars, especially japanese which are recylced models that look exactly the same. Within the stats above there are probably only 5 models of the same car that actually look different from each other, at the most. 1031 cars BS, I will stick with Forza 3 Ultimate Edition 500 cars that are all distinct, have full customization options and interiors are better then 200 permium cars with the rest being low res and many recylced versions of the same car with no significant customization IS ****

Cool story bro. I'd rather play gt5 then forza any day. Everyone has different tastes.

Well the point about the cars is true - HOWEVER it was a well known fact before the game was even released so quite why is needs to be discussed AGAIN I'm not sure :P

Im sticking with GTA5. its a solid game. it might have issues, but i dont think im going to drive the 200 premium cars, so im not worried about the quality of a few recycled ones. da_chub

Its true, the game makers did not state until the very end that there are "standard" cars and even then we didnt know the detials.

I love playing the game, diriving simulation is phenomenal. BUT as for the car collection of premiums...I was expecting more.

Now even thier recent seasonal events are doing horrible. Lack of money and Lack of XP.

Now where did I place my COD cd...hmmm :P
