get both, hopefully mgs4 will be out by early summer and gt5 should be hopefully fall 08.

it depends on what type of game you prefer and it's dificult to compare something that you havent played yet so you cant tell what are the positive and negative aspects of both games. As someone else said here save money till both come out and buy both of them.
