gran turismo 5 prolog update problem

i just got gran turismo 5 prolog for my b'day & i've gone to download the update. it starts to download then it comes up saying an error has occourd then stops downloading. i'm on a wireless connection & have no other problems wit the connection. my xbox 360 runs off the same connection without any problems.

please help

Just keep going to the news section and keep trying to update

It saves the update up to point where the error comes

It took me 6 tries to finally update it

i didn't realise this was a big problem. i thought it might of been my connection. i'll keep clicking on news till i update it.

ME! I live in spain and I bought GT5 Prologue from the store, then Itried to update it several times but couldn't suceed! I was like WTF, I thought was my connection, but actually I never had any connection issue till now with f GT5 Prolog. So you guys say it takes many tries to update it? And always through the "news" icon? Got it!

I always have problems when trying to download GT5 P updates, it either just takes forever(i have a 24mb fibre optic connection) or it keeps crashing/getting an error and takes several attempts to get it working.

Nearly every time i go to play the game theres an update infact i still have not installed the last update as it just would not update and i gave up and switched it off and then 2 weeks later i forget about it and go to play GT5p and realize i still need that update, its been around3 months since i played it because of updates taking the p**s and now there's probably several updates that need installing.

I have the PSn version of it. No problem at all downloading it. With a 3MB connection, it took me 30 minutes to DL it. Now Im enjoying my new Ferrari California, and saving money for the GT (1 million credits).

Try going to the options in the game, and clear the cache or something like that. The option menu has some tips for downloading updates if you are having problems.

I haven't had any issues with GT5 Prologue updates, I have the game since the launch.

It seems like not everyone are sharing that experience sadly..

It took me 3 tries and it finally finished. Try downloading when you think what time the servers are being accessed the least amount.MrBz1
