Why we still don't have a proper GT game for PS4 is a mystery. Hopefully Sony will fix that at some point...

@LauriAJ: We don't have any official date of its release, my personal belief - around Christmas 2016.

@LauriAJ: GT7 should be released in 16 or 17. The graphics will probably be crazy though, racing game visuals are always pretty advanced. Hopefully they include more tracks than GT6.

GT Sport doesn't look like a main entry in the series. I guess that's reserved for 2017, around the time it typically takes for the series to switch to the next generation. GT games are huge, unlike Forza which has decent-sized car rosters, so I think it may come out at that time.

Why do you say it doesnt look like main entry?? With it taking so long to make why would it not be the sequel to GT6?

@Coolyfett: The guy above pretty much answered it, but I got the impression right out of the gate upon watching the trailer. It's more of a side project for Kazunori Yamauchi from what I can tell, like a standalone GT Academy.
