[QUOTE="Deihmos"][QUOTE="Eddie5vs1"] [QUOTE="LeDavester"]forza 2 is for ricers who want to buy a mustang and put big body kits, big wannabe racing spoilers, uneven paint jobs, messed up stickers, and 22in' chrome rims, and think they are cool driving it down the streets with all that weight and ridiculous uneven weight body kit bouncing back and forth on the road with weak suspensions.
gran turismo is for true racing enthusiests who love real simulation and real car and it's true beauty and how cars are supposed to be.

lol...i can tell you've never played forza. GT is a great series, but IMO Forza 2 is better for the customozation and simulation. In regard to the "wannabe spoiler", and chrome rims, if you do use them they tend to increase the overall weight of your vehicle, decreasing both your acceleration AND top speed, but they do tend to improve the handling. IMO, GT is #1 in the graphics dept, but Forza 2 is #1 in everything else. Just my opinion.
Yep you can tell he never once played it since he thinks GTR with no damage is more realistic.
ooowiiie, look at me in forza 2, i'm traveling down the road at 160 mph and hit against the wall with a broken hood and a dented in front bumper. i also can drive away after that! gosh i wish this happened in real life too.
sir, i'd rather play a game with no damage than play a game with fake damage because fake damage makes the car not even a sim anymore.
lol....yes you can drive away from a big crash if you're a noob and have your damage set to "comestic". I use simulation, and if I crash, I can guarantee that I'm not coming in first. If you damage your front bumper, you increase your wind resistance, thus slowing you down. If you knock off your wing, you slide in turns more. If you damage your engine, you no longer can hit a high top speed and/or accelerate well. You can also damage each indepent shock, thus causing your car to lean in that direction. You can also damage each independent brake, which causes your car to pull if you apply your brakes. You can also damage your drivetrain which doesn't allow you to get all the power to the tires. You can also damage your transmission which doesn't allow you to change gears (which often causes your car to overheat. You can also damage your clutch whichthen takes it longer to change gears. You can also damage your steering which makes it hard to steer. Other than, what I listed, your right, it is fake damage. lol.
You are entitle to you opinion though about GT, as it is a great series. But at least know what you're are talking about because a lot of people on the forums take what they read as gospel. I hope that I cleared upthe confusion for you. Cheers. :)
*edit* I also noticed your comment about the 160 speed limit. I have a GTO that is upgraded to a U Cla$$ with a new dropped in engine that's tuned and it tops out at around 255MPH. Just thought you might want to know. I also want to say again that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that everyone likes a different game, I'm just asking that you be accurate in your desciption of Forza 2.
