Gran Turismo Release date

Hey guys.

I've been trying to figure out GT5s release date but wht i had so far is Q4 2009, 02/02/10, or that it was delayed until Q3 2010. Does anyone know for sure the release date?

March 2010 in Japan for definite. Apparently not long after for the other regions so fingers crossed for march :P

thanks for the replies. i don't think it would be bad to release it earlier since the audience for a FF game and GT aren't the same..well they are in my case, but if your a fan of both youll get both, just not at the same time. Guess they want to show those "first week" big numbers..

I live in europe, although i'm not the tipical gamer, most of the stereotypes are right. Theres loads of people that buy a ps3 to play PES or FIFA. If GT came out in the same month as FF XIII it wouldn't hurt them much, the only thing different is that their sales wouldnt be astronomical from day one, but it would milk the market for sure.

Either "shortly after" the Japan release in March, or else "sometime this summer". I believe that's the word from Sony. I honestly don't understand why the hell they can't come out with a North American release date - they've got a release date in Japan. It's not like there's any dialog in the game that needs to be translated, just some text.

Yeah, I just think it's really lousy that after all the delays in the development of the game, they might delay it further so that it doesn't come out at the same time as other games. Hell of a way to treat the fans of the series who have been looking forward to this thing for five years now.
