I've recently played Uncharted 2, and the graphics were absolutely stunning. After completing it, I popped in Assassin's Creed 2, and I found the cutscences ugly in comparison with Uncharted 2.

Does anyone also unconciously compare graphics with Uncharted 2?

well they look REALLY identical to uncharted 1(which camed out in 2007, and was the best looking PS3 game until killzone2) but since uncharted 2 also supports 1080p...it looks a bit better...but also at 720p it looks a bit better (more detailed characters and enviroments) oh and they also fixed that problem from UC1...where if you walked in an extremely loaded area (i.e the jungle where all those plants moved and all those livefull colors in the screen) you could see lines appearing from the screen (because of a screen refresh...it was too loaded for the PS3)

This Exact thing happened to me when i was playing Assassins Creed 2, we seem to be having an epidemic here people. But when you play killzone 2 it will be alright.

Uncharted 2 is the reason why I've become a graphics addict. I never really used to think about the graphics in such a big way, next gen has always looked amazing to me but ever since seeing Uncharted 2 I look at every other game and think how poor they are compared.

No, because then I remember that Assassin's Creed II is the better game.

As a gamer, I prefer to have a better game. If I wanted graphics, I'd get a PC and look at Crysis.

Umm... Uncharted 2 isn't in 1080p. It's rendered in 720p, but upscaled to 1080p. Which all games on the 360 and PS3 do.

Yeah, I had the exact same problem w/ ACII, b/c I'd just finished Uncharted 2 before that. Ezio and family look pretty ugly compared to Drake, Elena, and company.

Half-life dude thank you, im tired of people saying uncharted 2 is superb- grafx king. Uncharted 2 is just the uncharted 1 graphic engine with a "sheet" load of high res textures.

uncharted 2 is 720p olny, not 1080p. and there is almost no resemblance (except for the character models) between U1 or U2.

Ha I had the exact same thing happen. Played UC2 then popped in AC2 and I was like wow AC2 looks like crap! It's still an awesome game though. Also whoever said that Uncharted 1 looks just like Uncharted 2... seriously? UC2 looks much better.

notice that the only one highlighted is 720p. the new ps3 box design displays all resolutions and only highlights the suported ones.

Heavy rains graphics aint that good ¬¬

Graphics are not the reason I'm waiting for the game, although they're very good, especially character animation which is brilliant.

I don't feel this way at all whatsoever. If I did, Uncharted 2 would look meh after playing Crysis. I find most games visually pleasing this generation. Graphics only please in the very beginning for me. Once that gloss starts to wear, you'd better have something beneath it.

I watched the latest trailer and I almost threw up my lunch when I saw the actress girl, she looked like a fricking doll yet she was supposed to be a "real girl"

lol no problem dude...its just the truth, same as MW1 vs MW2...both have the same crappy graphic engine, the only difference is that MW2 enviroments are "more interactive"
