Graphics aside, who thinks Killzone 2 is gonna be awesome?

IMO, I think this game looks good with or without its AMAZING graphics.

But I think graphics are gonna help alot too. I mean Half Life 2 didnt quite have the greatest story, but yet the gameplay and graphics made it an amazing game, and very very fun to play.

BUT wow.....this game is the one that will make me go out a buy a ps3 the day the game is out. halo3 is the last of its story. awesome game. but time for another one. and words cant describe how awesome this game looks. cant wait to see how it plays

I think KZ2 could benefit greatly from a tightly-structured multiplayer experience, here's to hoping that Guerrilla has already been hard at work on such an endeavor. Also, Halo 3 is by far the last of the story.

Neither Killzone 2 graphics or what i saw of the gameplay interest me just not my cup of tea as they say plus kind of getting sick of all these fps set in the future on a warn torn planet lol can they not come up with a new story. game just doesn't interest me at all.

though in all honest ill be too busy playing little big planet to play anything else lol to each there own and game on lol

My personal opinion is that yes, this game is going to rock!

That being said, I certainly hope for Sony's sake that it does! I mean, considering how much they have been hyping it, can they really afford it not to?

Looks like just another fps with nicer graphics to me, personally. I think it'll be a quality product, but offer nothing new to the genre. It'll be a technical showpiece for the PS3, and not a gameplay showpiece.

Take a page from Bioshock and Half-Life 2, and offer something really new and exciting to the genre. I know it's hard, but that will make the game a better showing overall. Give me online that will be better than halo's, give me singleplayer to rival halflife's or bioshock's, and wrap it all up in a nice graphical / sound package for me. Here's hoping they do that.

nope, can't stand the xbox 360 and can't stand the wii. i don't play computer games on the pc either. I own both a ps1 and ps2, and love them both. I'm not a fanboy for anyone's side. The company only wants my money, i only want the most positive console experience possible.

I've seen the previews and the videos of killzone, and while i find it to be a beautiful game, i don't see much gameplay there that does what other games haven't before. I'm worried that the game might be more graphical sizzle than gameplay steak, which i believe is a valid concern. I hope that the game does have gameplay which puts other fps games to shame, a story that makes half-life and bioshock cry, and multiplayer that makes halo and counterstrike seem pathetic in comparison. I just haven't seen any indication of that yet.

but personaly i didn't like KZ1 so i don't know what to expect

I was a hardcore player in Killzone's online. Many people tell me that Halo's online is far superior to that game's online. I beg to differ. On Killzone you could see ever server that was online. You could tell if your friends were in a specific server. Once in the server to could see all the information for ever single game that was out there (game type, time remaining,number of lives, players within game, map). No match making involved. People say that you need match making for it to be fun. I think that match making takes all the control out of the players hands. I loved being able to play the same game type 3-4 times in a row and then going to something else. I just hope that the devs for KZ2 keep it the same or at least have an option to not use match maker.

I actually somewhat enjoyed the 1st killzone... so i think this one will be pretty sweet FFVIIROCKS

The 40 million dollar budget tells me that Sony is serious about making a AAA FPS, and I believe they will. Also the first person cover system is deffinitly bringing something new to the genre. not to mention the Helgast are the coolest bad guys in gaming. Watch the opening to Killzone 1 on youtube and tell me that doesn't get you excited, and that's for the bad guys.Shinedown220

I don't have a PS3 either. I personally have found over the years that the PS1 and PS2 have given me the best console gaming experience. So far thisgeneration, none of the consoles offer a decent gaming experience for me. The xbox and wii are targeting people with certain tastes in videogames, but those tastes are not mine. The PS3 is trying and failing to attract gamers with my tastes to buy its console. I don't like any of the current consoles. I guess I can't be a fanboy if i don't have ANY loyalties.

Theres just something to this game that looks so...realistic... in a sense...

The movement and action of the A.I. seems so human...not saying that their strength or whatever...just theirs movements.
