I am a new PS3 user and had PSX and PS2 in past. I have a question and dont know how to describe that since in English I dont find the actual word to describe that problem. Alright when I play some games like Assassin's Creed and in gameplay When many characters appear at once in screen or when we ride the horse fast the screen dosent show graphics that smoothly and also on Smckdown vs Raw 2009 when we play a three vs three match the gameplay dosent looks like as smooth as when we play single vs single or tag vs tag. Is it that the hardware gets overloaded or what? I saw some videos on youtube of my most awaited game "Afrika" and in some gameplay when there are many animals or in a scene when the Jeep is running alongside with Zebras the same problem. Please reply, Do i have to do any settings on my PS3 or is it any other problem. Thanks.

Sounds like you're seeing framerate drops. Common in a lot of games, when there is too much going on the framerate will drop and motions start to stutter. Nothing is wrong with your PS3.

Ur problem could be a issue with disc having scratches on it, or a more serious issue in ur PS3, the card mite b overheating or dying. Not entirely sure what is wrong, but try running a few different games, that may push the card, if it still happens, then i would be speaking with tech support for a solution.

If it doesn't do it on different games, then the disc mite have a few scratches or something.
