graw 2 demo a sick joke by ubisoft???

I just played the demo of graw 2 and what the hell is with the nintendo 64 graphics with the ground textures, is itjust a really bad port, or just some kind of joke game, this is no way bashing the ps3 as im a defender of all sony, but graw 2s textures are shockingly bad

I have NO idea what he is talking about! What he wrote is a JOKE indeed. GRAW2 on PS3 looks better than the 360's one. Unless the 360 version's textures look as if they were rendered on ATARI which is older than N64.

Ubisoft is not a very good developer, they dont put any efforts on their ports.

don't be so naive, demo's are just another form of advertising, would you be as flippant if some other company made a half arsed advert, no, you'd just avoid their product. We have every right to complain about someone trying to sell us something in a half arsed way

Look at the grass and the box...Not so great. I think thats what the issue is.

O come on now! All i use to hear on these forums is about how PSN never puts any DEMOS on the there and then when they do you guys STILL complain and NAG NAG NAG WHINE WHINE WHINE. It's only a demo it's not the Finished product. There's so much you can put in a demo. (Example) Heavenly Sword short demo but it was the DEMO from TGS 2006 hmmm. Well when u get something for FREE you can't complain at all coz your not paying for it. Beggers can't be choosers.

graw2 didn't have the best groundtextures on 360 either.

I finished the game but i can say that rainbow six vegas is a better game. Graw 2 is a good game, but not an instant classic.

im fo sure not trying to say the xbox 360s version is better in anyway, ive never played it, I never play xbox 360 at all, dont even have any friends that own one, I just was thinking surely ubisoft could have done a better job with the textures in the game, the 360s version could be just as bad if not worse, but either way both could be said to be crap, you look at games like haze, resident evil and killzone 2 coming up and it makes graw 2 look like a last gen gamebigLLL

Why is everyone in every forum trying there best not to say that the other consoles version may be better LOL. I owned GRAW 2 for the xbox 360 thus im not going to get it formy PS3. I played the demo and I do not see any difference really between the two versions. There almost exactly a like, and BTW the demos are exactly a like to in both versions. Stop crying about the game, it looks fine on the PS3 and it looks the same on the 360.

It's probably the same problem as with R6 Vegas. They forget to program it to tell the PS3 what resolution to set at when the game boots up. R6 Vegas is blurry unless the PS3 is set at a max resolution of 720p. Otherwise by default the PS3 sets it to the max resolution of the TV and the game simply wasn't made to go above 720p.

looks better than te 360 version...Trust me the game looks a lot better in the later levels.

I think that the graphics are great... particularly the explosions (which sound great as well) and lighting. Of course I am not looking at the ground close to me (Why anyone would do that is beyond me). Who cares what the ground below you looks like>jshigashi

See now... I wasn't focusing on the ground at all while playing the demo, I was actually playing the demo.

UMMM....did u adjust the brightness???? THE BRIGHTNESS is "0" put it on "10" and the game looks MUCH better~

whoever said the ps3 version looks better then the 360 one is either lying/confused/just a random sony fanboy talking nonsense.

I own both consoles and played it on both and the 360 version is graphically superior to the ps3 version, specially considering it came out ages ago.

This isnt a slate on the ps3, its a slate on ubisoft. The ps3 version doesnt look bad if you just took it as a game on its own, but when u compare it to the other version its a very noticable difference and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

The final game might however be alot different and miles better then the other version.
