Figured i'd make a positive post seeing as how all the whiners are making posts. Thought the conference was great, yeah they could have shown us what the console actually looks like but honestly what's more important, what a box looks like or what's inside. For me it was great to see ps4 games up and running, know it will be called ps4, see the official dualshock 4, and see a glimpse of what the UI will look like. I really thought it was cool how our psn friends can pop in anytime into our games to see what we are playing as well. Can't wait for e3 they set the stage for announcing price point, more games, and what the hardware will look like. Good job Sony can't wait to preorder. Oh, and we only saw one move demonstration. yay

I'm on your side. I wish we could've seen some of the games I'm interested in though... like Dark Souls 2, Uncharted 4... maybe Fallout 4. I was impressed with the show though. I was very happy to see that Sony was most concerned with developer's needs (which was a problem with PS3), and was interested in showing us the meat and potatos of actual games for the next console. I thought it would be a quick 30 minute reveal without half as much substance. I'm happy with it, and I still plan to pre-order the system.

Exactly. One of ps3's main problems was not catering to 3rd party devs and it seems they are all in for ps4 which is very good news.

I thought the conference was great too.  Awesome looking first party games, tons of 3rd party support, and very intriguing use of Gaikai.  Being able to play any PS4 game on your Vita from anywhere?  That's just incredible.  Can't wait for e3.

Agreed. Don't really see why people are **** and moaning. I didn't even expect to see half the games they showed. Things are looking great for Sony.

I also liked it. I really liked that Sony went out and got developers feedback. It also looks to have some really good 3rd party support. It would of been even better if Kojima showed up and had some sweet Metal Gear for us... But thats just me being selfish.

Yeah screw the people whining, great conference. PS4 sounds and looks incredible!

Got actual PS4 gameplay of Killzone: Shadow Fall which looks incredible. Watch Dogs, Destiny, Infamous Second Son, Deep Down, Drive Club all showed something worthwhile. Excellent stuff.

Plus the extremely realistic emotion capture that Quantic Dream are working on looks phenomenal, just what next-gen needs for its storytelling.

Overall, worth the wait, looking forward to later this year.
