Enter the Matrix - must buy/play IMO

I don't know. Enter The Matrix was just another rushed, horrible movie game. But hey, atleast someone likes it and gave it a good home right? lol
I don't really think I have games that people hate. Well, I know people think Sim City is boring, but I love a game of Sim City once in awhile. Build a city as much as you could, get bored, don't play it for awhile, go back to it lol

I didn't think it was that bad. I wouldn't call it a must buy either.
I know Haze isn't very popular but I absolutely love it, despite its flagrant flaws.QuebecSuperstar
Frankly, I had a lot of fun with HAze too. It didn't break any molds, but I thought it was worth my money.
Also, I really enjoyed Lair. The motion controls were fun (and easy to learn, don't know why so many people couldn't figure out such a simple control scheme) and thought the game had mission objectives that were varied enough (not exactly unique to each and every level but I've played enough games in my day to know that few games really offer that. And let's face it, I bought the game towreakhavoc on others with a a dragon, and that's what the game had on offer in spades)

enter the matrix was a very fun game though, i have it i really enjoyed it too!. and so was path of neo, just a little over ambitious, they should remake that for ps3 so they can do Smith some justice.
Enchanted Arms, it wasn't a great game but it was a pretty solid JRPG. To each his own though, I enjoyed it back in 06 on my Xbox 360. Now I see it for 19.99 on the PS3 and people are saying it's not even worth that.Yng-ePIc

Yeahh i liked Haze too not the best but better than i thought it would be.On the PS3 I'd have to go with Assassin's Creed, a lot of people on these boards don't seem to like it.
Overall I'd have to go with Killzone or Fighting Force

i thought it was fricken damnn awesome really tied in well with reloaded.. it had a couple flaws nothing to make everyone hate it as much as they did..... unless they just realllllly wanted to play as neo and the rest ill admit path of neo was the worst game i like ever played went through alot of hassle to return that garbage once i beat it hahaha even though it did have some really sweet points but to much terrible moments and the ending was like sooooo bad and funny it like eclipsed that freekin terrible olllllld batman the movie crap lol...only thing that really stuck out to me in enter the matrix is that one grenade style gun that takes away the oxygen in peoples lungs w.e been a loong time but the animations and everything looked pretty silly but thats such a minor detail but i guess alas we are not video game critics and im sure most people for some reason will beg to differ and on assasins creed i duno i freekin loved that game just the ending onl real boss fight and that whole sequence was just abysmaly terrible still like that particular game though i enjoyed it to much and the very ending was okay... but lacked seriou depth but none the less im stoked for #2 and pray it will be perfect and a tad bit less repetitive!
Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. I mean I know it's not a good fighter and it's a huge button masher, but the way I love DBZ and the fact that it gave us huge 3-d environments to battle in and do our favourite moves with freedom just like on the show made it feel a lot more fun. Plus the story was like a good 50 hours and they had soooo many characters, all it missed was online.G-Legend
yeah it was okay i was kinda upset i bought it shoudla just bought budokai 3 greatest hits heard its alot better i enjoyed budokai#1 back in the day but now for dbz its just super dbz or nothing accually terrific in depth gameplay that realllly shined even when the gorgoues vissuals on the tremendously pushed ps2 hardware when framerates would drop a lil on the insanely detailed levels when you bust off your super move but i really also loved the graphics it felt soo much like akira toryamas original art funnnk i hope atari makes #2 on ps3.........

Who didnt like fighting force? That game was kickarse, like streets of rage but 3D. Fighting force 2 though was rubbish, whyd they get rid of multiplayer? it was the best bit.
Anyway ill have to go for Chaos Legion, Rayman 1 and 2

Look at the reviews lol, it got like.....less than 4 everywhere.
Sonic (2006) Lair and Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds.
I couldn't find the problems critics mentioned in these games. Bad controls? Not really, L2P. Bugs? Unless you try to find them, you won't. I did find the long load times in Sonic 06, but those were no big deal. And the voice acting was horrible.
I also love Oblivion. Critics liked it, but for some reason too many fans hate it because they changed the game too much going from Morrowind to Oblivion. The improved the combat system, the graphics, they added voice acting for everyone, more customization, they made it more realistic and they added physics. I guess some hardcore fanboys hate improvement.
I also really like Killzone 1 on the PS2. Graphics were great, it had an interesting story and solid multiplayer. It was a very solid shooter, I enjoyed the campaign.
Clive Barker's Jericho.
People bag on it I feel because they are trying to play it like a tactical shooter, and it just isn't. It has more in common with an RPG. I have come back to that game so many times for the various ways to play throguh it, the moddy atmospheres and the really interesting abilities. It isn't a classic, but its a solid fun game that I am truly glad I bought, but if you listen to people on the baords, you'd think it was dump in a box.

For games such as that it doesnt really matter what the ignorant majority thinks, what really matters is what the inner community thinks of the game.
lair was awesome, i was shocked at the low rating it got.... chaos legion was good too, idk if monster hunter counts, but its a freakin sweet series and for some reason critics cant understand that a lock on system would prolly make the game harder, and just wouldnt work at all in the game.
Blood will tell- the story is great and combined with the solid gameplay (I understand Chinese so I bought the Chinese version with Japanese dub which is much better than the English dub)
DBZ: BT 2 & 3- I don't care what others say, these two games are better and deeper than the Bokokai series. I can freakin own you if you just button smash or not (since I'm better than most)
Hot Shot Tennis- this game is the best tennis sim out there (yeah, better than than Virtual tennis and Top spin series)
Everyone just treated it as a kid's game; you can go try it if you don't believe me. It's hard and most ppl won't be able to beat it. BTW, Top Spin 3 is horrible... just horrible.

AWWW! That's messed up. It was a decent game IMO, it started off slow but it picked up and a pretty solid JRPG.
Chaos Legion on PS2 and PC loved that game.....I loved that game... but the game I will have to go with is Shenmue, DMC2, and Time Crisis games... love em all... I even like the corny stories...
brings back memories
my compliment to creator of this topic !!!8)KengoK
I have to agree with what robobie said
"Kane and Lynch"
Alot of people felt down cause it was "hyped", but frankly I thought this game was pretty good. Story was iight, not the best like most games, Graphics are the best, but to me it was good.
I could go on and on about this, but overall I had a blast playing it. Same thing goes for Soldier of Fortune Payback, even though it was nothing near the greatest of Double Helix.
