What is so impressive about an image from a cut scene? The image is not from actual gameplay since it is a first person shooter.

Something EVERYONE on the PS3 boards should be aware of IGNORE posts by Deihmos.  Just take a look at his post history.  Let me know if you  see ANYTHING positive.  This kids career is built around taking jabs at the PS3 and always just makes it inside the rules so as not to get modded.  NEVER brings anything positve here.

No it's coming for PC, 360 and PS3 I heard and this is not a game to get excited about. IMO it's too slow and realistic that it is not fun. If you are into extremely realistic games that are super slow paced then you might like it.

If you read my previous post you will know I was referring to the first game. More than likely this will follow in the same footsteps and imo consoles are not ready for realistic games like this. The first one sucked on the Xbox and was broing on the PC.

Wtf doesn't work anymore.

 Forground looks very detailed. But the camera or 'point of view' is very low to the ground and you can see the background isn't as detailed. And the background is blured (deph-of-field blur) so the lack of detail in the background isn't that evident.

Wow, impressive. I'm getting it on the 360 but I know they'll be almost identical, if not exactly the same. Anyways the 1st one on PC was good fun, hopefully they'll keep the mission editor thing for the console versions. And some great multiplayer with all the vehicles :)

You played an xbox version of a PC game and thought it was crap? Big deal. How many PC games are actually good on consoles? Half-life, for instance, sucked on consoles.

And yes it won Game of the Year. Like someone else said, they have a GOTY Edition that comes with expansion pack.

And you probably haven't even played the game, because you don't have to play it just from a first-person perspective. You could also play from a third-person perspective and also command your troops through a field perspective...

The first Flashpoint was hands down one of the best FPS games ever released anywhere.

It took what Clancy is always trying to do ... and games like Doom and Quake were always scared of seeing happen and made it reality. Fun, in-depth, hyper-realistic warfare from the ground up.

 You could steal/drive/pilot ANYTHING you could find if it was still in working condition. Gunfights were realistic and intense. Your teamates were good at fighting back and trying to stay alive and the scripted portions of the game were absolutely Saving Private Ryan style mayhem. 

 Not to mention the fact that every gun was modeled accurately, sounded correct, and were FUN AS HELL to shoot people with. Nothing like going on a mission to snipe a high ranked officer deep into enemy territory... 

 don't even get me started on the mission editor..... this game with own your soul.

Sorry budd but there were lots of mods 'n user created content for it. I know because I used to play it years ago. I remember one mission someone created that I joined in started off with a jump from an airplane miles in the air 'n you got to skydive for like a good minute or two before you had to open the paracheute, 'n then you had to hope no one shot you out of the air. That has got to be one of my fav memories from that game...

You DO realize that the devs have tools that let them grab the camera away from the FP view right? That's how alot of pix are taken for mags 'n stuff. 0.o Cmon people, the forums get flooded with retards more and more each day. 

Hope it's good but the first screenies look like cg to me :( besides there's already an OpF 2 and it's called Armed Assault :)

Ya the license thing is a pain but it is the real sequel.
