Grenades. Arent they just so awesome?

Grenades.

Seems like nowadays grenades are a crucial part of gaming, fps especially. See it doesnt bother me, I think it adds some great depth to gameplay. But, my question is...

Sure 1 or 2 grenades, but 3 guys on the screen throwing a hail storm of 40 grenades towards my feet. What? Do I not understand something here, did I not read the manual or miss the part when they mentioned each ai bot has 30 grenades on them? I swear, its really annoying.

And then, we have online. Im sure this community is fairly versed with the Call of Duty franchise and its online. It has been some of the best online ever as a series. Now thats all fine and dandy, but whats with people and their first instincts nowadays?

Back in the day, I dont it being such a big deal. But now, if someone sees you they wont even bother shooting their gun. The first thing they think of is GRENADE! And cod4 with the x3 perk..Seriously? That gives them more incentive to look up, and chuck 3.

Its getting quite rediculous, everytime I play a game there is somehow magically a grenade at my foot in either single player or online. And dont say I suck at the game or something, because you know I am telling the truth. And if you dont experiance this like the other million people out there do, I would like to get your copy of the game.

Whats your opinion?

But yeah, sometimes I see how a lot of people won't get killed with granades laying around (not necessarily mine). It's like the nade gave them a lot of time to get away harmless, but when it comes to me, no matter how much I try getting away, the mofo always seems to chase me lol.

I am blessed with having a perk on whatever game I play that is grenade magnet. I die by grenades more than 50% of my death. Whether, it be RFoM CoD4 or R2, I will die by just about every nade thrown at me.BPoole96

Grenades aren't so bad, remember you have them too.. And sure there are people that throw "random" nades, but you would be suprised how many of those are actually calculated tosses to where you know there are gonna be some enemies.. Whether its hitting spawn points, or flow points, or killing the guy who just killed you with a long bomb.. I get a lot of nade kills and I dont just look up and huck.. warbmxjohn

It is true that I have them as well, but consider this situation that occurs many times in Resistance 2: You're coming around a building and you and another guy see one another, nobody else from either team is there. The first thing he does is throws a grenade, backs up, and jump behind the corner. Since grenades are way overpowered on R2 this horrible player ends up killing me. He did not even bother using his gun more or less think about it. I hate when people's first impulse is to throw their grenades trying to get cheap kills.

Anything that goes "boom" and explodes is pretty sweet, espically when it does the job.:twisted:1uP_OnYou
