GT5 Number of Cars?

Has an official car list or car count for GT5 been released yet? Im not talking about that 10,000 car wishlist that some dumbasses thought was real and posted all over the internet. I was looking at one of the 10,000 cars threads that this 1000+ poster created. Never came back to the thread to correct himself after being flamed 30 something pages.

GT for PSP has 800 cars so GT5 will probably have a lot more than that.

as long as they have east german trabant and russian lada cars, i do not care for anything else... :P

I want Jeep to be included this time around.

The only problem I have with this is that I know at least I won't be driving ALL those cars. I'm so sure there's going to be all those 90HP or less cars I will probably never even drive, like in GT4. I just wanted to drive the cars I liked and try out some news ones but by the end I was still so far from having tried all cars. Not even half of half the cars.

There is such thing as too many cars.

But, since the developers along with the PS3 are capable of doing so... might as well, right? :)
