this is a little off topic but im new to this - how do u pay for a game wen u download it on ps3?
When you setup your Playstation Network account you can add a credit/debit card to make purchases like full games, arcade-type games, classic games, add-on content for PS3 games, Map packs, etc, etc. Not sure if they're out in the US yet, but I know that there are also PSN gift cards.

I believe the download will be the same in price and quality but the disc has a bonus video called "Beyond the Apex" or something on it.

Then you'll have to pay for the game twice. I'm assuming the game will work like Warhawk. That game doesn't allow for multiple downloads like the $5-10 games like Super Stardust HD.
Maybe you can play on both if you signed in under your ID though. So, you and your dad couldn't play at the same time since you'd both have to be logged into your account.
It comes out in Europe For download on the 27th March (Today), The BD release is the 28th.
Both versions are exactly the same minus the 'beyond the apex' Featurette, however this will be available through the downloaded version but you will have to download it seperately from the prologue menu.....i believe....
PSN ID: CallumCrippler
COD4, Prologue, Burnout Paradise, UT3 (w/mods)

Warhawk also clearly said that you couldn't do that in the product info. If it doesn't say that about Prologue then you should be able to download it multiple times.
Where do you live? I think Europe already has it and I know Japan has had it for a long time. USA is getting it April 17. By the way, get the disc. Hard Drive space is more valuable than shelf space. It's 2 gigs. Besides you get extra videos on the Blu-ray version.Chaos_Bladez

well i also thought it would be kind of hard... but i guess if i have the same account on both consoles, then i should at least be able to download it... it would be ok if he could at least play it offline when i play it online, but oh well... lets wait and see... not too keen on paying 2 times for the same game :/

It will 99% not be downloadable from the store as soon the store will close for re-furbishment and then when it re-opens it will have loads of new features plus a whole new human interface. Therefore the likelyhood of them putting this game in the store is very very slim. Give it a month or so and the store will close for about 2 months before reopenin near the release date of PS3 home.
