If I were to do a Race Modification on my Tuscan Speed 6 '00 and spend 175,000 Cr, would I retain all the parts I purchased from the Tuning Shop? Appreciate any feedback I get in advance.

I've only done one race mod (ZR1) and didn't buy anything beforehand, but I'm pretty sure you lose all the parts you've purchased - or they become useless, at least. The race mod seems to modify the car's outer appearance, adds all the weight reductions, the transmission upgrades, and modifies the engine. I was still able to buy some engine mods for my ZR1 after race modding it, but not an awful lot. However, it did have about 100hp more than the stock car before I modded it. Unfortunately, race modding the car did not outfit it with race tires. Go figure.

Any upgrades you buy will be removed if you do the racing mod. Just do the racing mod first and then buy the rest of the upgrades

Cheers. Good information to know now, but unfortunately for my sake it's a little belated seeing as I have completed all the tuning upgrades to the Tuscan. Only have myself to blame for that. I should have researched which cars are Race Modifiable. It's unfortunate there isn't some kind of indicator telling you if it's Race modifiable or not. Or there is and I was oblivious to it.

When you do the racing upgrade, all of the other purchased parts that you have installed will be removed. You can go into your car tuning through your garage and re-intstall ones that weren't permanent. Not sure about permanent ones...I would assume weight reduction would be lost. Not sure about chassis and engine upgrades.
