GT5 Release Date

Has the December date for GT5 been officially confirmed or is it still just a rumour for that date?

With Dirt 2 and NFS:Shift turning out to be good games this year this might have a effect on GT5 sales and mybe the release date as the developers might not have been expecting to go up against 3 good racing games. People might hold out on buying GT5 if they are still playing other racing games. On top of this they will be up against people who own both the PS3 and 360 as Forza will be out first.

I still want them to release the game in december as i want to see what the game is like plus december is a good month for sales because of Christmas.

I will be buying GT5 but only after am finished with Forza and Shift. This might change if GT5 is as good as i am expecting it to be but i will be waiting for the reveiws.I would have bought it day one if i didn't have other similar games to play.

no sony or polyphony people have said a word about gt5 release date. it could come out for summer 2010 for all we know

Its coming out soon but because of Dirt 2 and NFS shift being pretty good games its going to hold back, just exactly what Modern Warfare 2 is doing. They want it to be the only recent driving game out and with the GT mark then i asure you its going to be big. Just sit tight, I have for more than a year now. 1000 cars has been confirmed through the PD website, the info was quickly taken down though. Kaz (the president) mentioned that everything on the feature list was true.

if gt4 had 700 id expect 1000 or more in gt5

also im sure it will be released mid next year. you wouldve heard by now if it would be released this year.

I'm fighting the urge right now to wait for GT5 for3 more months instead of picking up NFS Shift.
