GT5P On Sale at Best Buy (Canada)

So, GT5P is on sale in Canada for $24.99 instead of the regular $39.99.

To those who have GT5P how's the game, is it worth $24.99? I've been dying to play a good racing game (Need For Speed is too strange now, and GRID feels slippery) and I was wondering if this would be a good buy.

Or alternatively I could get Assassin's Creed which is only $29.99, which would you perfer?

Not more than Forza, but I enjoyed Prologue more than Forza especially if you have the wheel. It feels so realistic.

Hmm I'll probaby pick this up. I was thinking about Assassin's Creed but my friend said it get's real repetitive, climb, kill, climb, fall, eavesdrop, etc.

Anyways I really wanted a good racing game and even if this isn't the full thing it's still better than most racers out there.

I definitely would not recommend Assassin's Creed. If you want a good racing game then definitely pick up Prologue.

I'd go for Assassin's Creed. I got it because of the deal, 29 bucks at Future Shop as well. I don't understand why people say it's repetitive. Yeah you climb everywhere, stealth kill, etc. but it's FUN. The gameplay is pretty sweet... jumping from building to building, hiding in crowds, bumping into someone and stabbing them in broad daylight with no one noticing in the crowds and walking off..

It's not THAT repetitive since you have nine assassination missions.

I'd liken it to Shadow of the Colossus, in a way. You know your general goal from the start, you navigate towards the focal point of your assassination and then you strike. Each assassination being a slightly different take on the previous.

Assassin's Creed was "fun" during the first few missions after that it got boring. Prologue > Assassin's Creed for me.

They also have another stupid special:40GB ps3 +GT5P+_ installation from geek squad for 520$ when you can get the MSG4 bundle that comes with MGS4 and an 80GB ps3 for 500$ .

Who the hell would pay more for less and why do you need somoeone to install your ps3???????
