I have a question about the 100% complete trophy for GTA 4. Do I have to beat the game and get 100% or can I beat the game at 60% and then go back and get everything else? Will I get the trophy as long as I get the percentage to 100%?
Im almost positive that in order to get the trophy you have to fully beat the game. So not only do you have to beat the main story which is around 60% or whatever, but you also have to beat all side missions.
I suggest you rush through the story in under 30 hours and then do the rest (pigeons, stunt jumps, find all the random characters, etc)... it doesn't matter what order you do it in, so long as it says 100% complete.
But man I wish I waited to kill all those pigeons and do those stunt jumps. I wouldn't mind doing the rest again, but what a PITA that was, and the payoff really wasn't worth it, and won't be again. But my OCD just won't let me let that go, lol.

theres a trophy for completing the story and another one for getting 100%
Since no one understood you, I'll give you the answer I think you're looking for. The order doesn't matter, you can do all side quests, stunt jumps, pigeons and finish the game's main story, or you can complete the main story first and then do all the side quests. The trigger for the trophy is to have 100% complete in the stats menu. Cheers...
