GTA: Episodes from Liberty City Multiplayer

How active is multiplayer in GTA: Episodes from Liberty City? Also if you are playing multiplayer in Lost and Damned can you play with someone who is playing Ballad of Gay Tony or GTA IV and the other way around?

I have the download versions and as I understand it there's seperate multiplayer for the download and the disc-based version. Pretty stupid move if you ask me, as you esentially cut your community in half. In my experience (again, I downloaded the episodes rather than buying the disc) is that there's a fair amout of people playing The Lost and Damned, but the Ballad of Gay Tony seems pretty dead. And GTA4 still seems to be more active than ether. Of course most people are probably using the Episodes from Liberty City disc.

Hold up... Your telling me the DLC has different servers than the Disc DLC ? What ? I didn't comprehend.

I have the disc version, & my friends have the DLC. I play with my friends just fine. You might be thinking of the 360 version of Lost & Damned (which i heard has been patched).
