GTA IV -- Anyone Up For A Swim?

I've got a challenge for all you GTA IV enthusiasts. Hop in a heli or boat (maybe you could try swimming) and see how far out to sea you can get. Of course you go off the map and can't measure distance. But we can measure time. So to participate just say what you used to do it and how long you kept going for.

This challenge is more determination and not loosing the will to live than skill. There will be a winner for each method of transport; heli, boat, swimming and ingenious ideas. Like flying...well you never know...

I'm not abducted or blown up. Earlier today I went for 15 minutes out to sea. I'm on a PS3 so is it a difference between PS3's and Xbox 360's or is my game weird? Plus I've watched a video on YouTube where a guy does the very same a me, but he's chasing the lights or "UFO's"Des431
