does any1 know a solution to the whole freezing thing? cuzz mine has gotten really bad i just start driving around for maybe 10 minutes and it feezes...

Yes thnx god i found this thread. i hve the same problem but my freezes when u start the game (right after when they show the pic of the hot babes and the cops then cmes the loading were the music plays) it should start when the music ends but it dose not. but my ps3 still works but when i want to quit game (so i can restart the game) my turns ps3 off . 2day i had restart my ps3 like about 6 time so gtaiv could work. rockstar should realese a patch becuz it making mad!!!! :evil::evil::evil:

nah that happens to me too, i dont think it's attributed to any single disc. this should be solved with a patch of some sort
reinstallin or deletin cache or disabling ur internet, does NOT fix the problem, at least not for everyone, man i havent slept for a full day now just tryin every method possible i even exchanged the game 3 times lol, and the closest i got is to run the game just fine but when i get in a car or go after a mission or just shoot around the block the damn thing freezes and i have to hold down the power button to reset it all over
