GTA graphics have always sucked balls, it's the gameplay that makes this game...

I doubt it's a native 1080p game, most likely upscaled. If it is native though, that would be sweet.

I know what you mean, but judging by current screenshots, and even the shots on the back of the box there, we should all be pretty satisfied with the graphics in this GTA. It's looking quite good for being a GTA game.

the thing is that the box also says 1 player. I was hoping to play split-screen with my buddies. oh wel atleast there`s online.

saw the official display cases today in Currys (UK)
saw on the back that it runs in 1080p, same can be said for the other console's display box.

Otherwise, GTA IV looked like a smooth online experience--and, according to Rockstar both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be exactly the same in terms of multiplayer features. Rockstar also told us at this point that while the game will support 1080p, the game will only run in 720p natively, and will therefore be scaled up to the higher resolution.
