Wrap this one around your little heads. The GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas games have been fantastic, long, adventerous, ruthless, wonderful SINGLE player campaigns. Does it make sense for Rockstar to put in a multiplayer game.. YES, is it going to be at the cost (sacrifice) of the single player game that it has been so successful as?? What do you think?

Let this bit of wisdom soak in...

GTA: Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories for PSP have had multiplayer modes implemented (Ad Hoc mode) and they were very fun. They took nothing away from the single player missions which were very good to say the least.

The OXM review (only one out atm) says it has great multiplayer.

that review is fake!but it was in san andreas too and i loved it even though no splitscreenand do you mean how people look at COD4 and say the single player was alright but without the multiplayer it would be boringDo you know what GTA IS! that game is going to be super fun because all the others had so much contentand now if its something missing it can always come in as DLCTHE MULTIPLAYER THING SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD JUST BE ANOTHER FUN PART OF GTA4 not owning the rest of the game and is the only reason you want to play it

it wont make the single player worse at all, it will just add even more to do.

With single player like GTA games have, I don't CARE how bad the multiplayer is, but knowing the high calibre work that Rockstar puts in, I'd say it probably won't be an issue.
