GTA IV or MGS4

now i finally got my ps3 but i dont know if i should get GTA IV or Mgs 4?

I think it could be more difficult to follow MTG4, but not impossible, especially if you read the backstory.

But if it is a direct choice as is, I'd opt for GTA4. The reviews it has are excellent, and the one I've linked there is an example from IGN.

ASDA has it for £38.73, which is a good deal in my opinion.

Well, everybody who owns GTAIV that i've spoken to said that after a month or so it just turned out to be a really big disappointment, doesn't live up to the hype apparently. Just be careful that if you buy MGS4 be aware of what you're buying.

MGS4 is absolutely not a third person-shooter, it is what it says - Stealth Espionage Action, you can't get through the game without focussing on not being found rather than running & gunning like you would a proper shooting game. Don't expect large gameplay segments in it either, the story of MGS4 is integral to the action and vice versa, on their own they wouldn't mean half as much as they do put together. And Lastly I'd advise buying Metal Gear Essentials for the PS2 if you haven't played the previous three games (ignore the Acid series and The Twin Snakes, they aren't canon)

Get Metal Gear Solid 4

It is the best game ever. Definately game of the year. The graphics are excellent and the story line will have you immersed in this epic saga. YOu will not be disappointed. 8)

I bought GTA lV as soon as it came out. Likewise, as soon as I played it..( after an hour or so ) I was dissapointed. It sucks.
