When is a GTA game ever short? You can play those until the end of time.
If you're asking if the game will have less data, then the obvious answer is yes if the game needs to be available for the PS3 and the other system.
If you're asking if the game will be compromised because it contains less data, then the answer is no. I doubt the game would have been transformed into an epic 50GB masterpiece if it had been solely available for the PS3.
No, it won't be a short game. Just think about it, on PS2, it can do the length and size of San Andreas... I am sure the next gen systems can handle it.
No, it wont be short. Oblivion fits on a 360 disc with room to spare so no...I dont see it happening.Christopper
Oblivion used less than half of a DVD9 so people really need to get over this space issue. Only games that require a lot of space is FMV filled games.
GRAW, GRAW 2, Lost Planet, Gears of War, COD2, you know, only the biggest titlesJeeceofx
Did you play any of these? You expencted a 100 hour shooter? Play these games on the hardest level and see how long it is plus I would hate to play a shooter that was too long. Also the more content the longer it takes to make a game and the larger the budget is. COD2 and GRAW are exactly the same length on the  PC. I guess the PC has space issues also.

Have you ever played the PC version of GRAW? And besides with PC it is assumed you have only, still about 50% of console owners don't have online or at least thats what Mark Rein(Epic Games) said in a 1up.com podcast so they should have more content on consoles.[QUOTE="Jeeceofx"]GRAW, GRAW 2, Lost Planet, Gears of War, COD2, you know, only the biggest titlesChronic2007

This is true but it also has a terrible framerate and constant loading screens/messages.Â
Good thing the entire game went to the PS3 hard drive to reduce this.

I'd like it even better if loading times ceased to exist.Â

I think he's trying to say that the world of Oblivion is vast.
But the actual space it occupied on a disc was not. A lot of the Oblivion world looks the same.Â

Well I am happy for you. Load times did not bother me and I played that game over a year ago. I am happy you are able to enjoy it now but it's really old news to me.

You don't know much about these things. FMV and audio is what takes up the most space in these games and I work with these things so I know. Textures do not use much sp@ce . If you take out all that voice acting in oblivion the sp@ce will be less than half of what it is.

Why thank you. I am happy for me too. Old or not, it's quite an enjoyable experience.Â
