If you had a life-time pick either MGS or GTA which would u choose ? and why ? in this life-time pick u wont be able to buy both only one out of these 2 choices.
MGS no question. screw that lowlife GTA crap. I wish it was only for the 360 so i would never have to see it coming any close to a PS3. lol, i'm just playin, but i really don't like GTA, although i t would give me more hours of play time than MGS
i played all GTA games but i picked MGS which i never played any series of it... Weird ..
when i saw the cut scenes of MGS i was like screw GTA :D.. i mean i played all gta games and the storyline is crap gameplay is fun but it gets repetitive.. and if they keep making the same mistake i guess GTA will loose its popularity.. now i decided to get all MGS games and play them from 1st to last so i can understand the story cuz i dont wanna miss any part of it

Time and time again copy cats like the getaway, godfather, and saints row are made but are never anything compared to GTA series. Theyve fought controversy, and even this doesnt hurt the GTA name it makes it more popular. Microsoft doesnt even care about MGS but they do about GTA and thats why GTA IV is going to the 360 and not Metal Gear Solid 4.

I disagree, with something like MGS how can anyone even begin to comprehend how to duplicate something like that with the combination of story and gameplay? its virtually impossible meanwhile with the GTA genre you just throw in the samething over and over again with different characters and story, it was innovative the first time but now with so many other games like it its getting tiresome, and by the way MGS isnt coming to 360 because Kojima doesnt want to port it not because MS doesnt want it they would kill for it.
As it was yesterday I can remember : " put the controller against your arm , it will feel better "Â and I was was like "what the hell" ??? But when i put the controller agains my arm it did felt better :P
Metal Gear Solid because it's my favorite series and it's always the games I look forward to the most. But this is harder to choose than I realized because I find myself playing the GTA games years after they come out, whereas MGS I may play occasionally, but once I've got the story down-pat, I just quit playing them.

that's stupid. mgs though for me too. in my opinion the story is the best out of any video game ever made, and is on par with films like the godfather in its conceptual complexity. the gameplay is extremely engrossing and challenging. gta is fun, but it's kind of a mindless fun.
GTA for me. MGS is very linear. GTA I can pick up and just do my own thing if I want. But MGS is a more engaging experience. GTA is a different kind of fun IMO. Â
MGS for me. Everytime I put in a MGS game in my playstation, I end up playing for hours. Everytime I put in GTA, I just play a few missions, get bored, and just end up playing another game.
I was sitting here in my chair and i seen this question and was absolutley suprised about some the responses youve been getting. Why on earth would anyone pick GTA over MGS..These two are not even in the same league and for that matter they shouldnt have even been mentioned in the same sentence. But i respect every one's opinions and i guess different strokes for different folks..and on yea I could play MGS3 for the rest of my life and be happy.
GTA this game can be fun and will never get boring and mgs games never interested me and i personally think they are overrated, but that is just my opinion

Yah, i agree it is the best story i have ever come across and everything is so well done, the story, the bosses, the progression, everyone loves Snake, the music is perfect, everything they do just fits togather so perfectly and its dont so perfectly and the story is so dramatic and argh its so good lol...Kojima is a genious, the end
