GTA3 and Vice City Heading to PS3

The ESRB has rated Grand Theft Auto III and its sequel, Vice City, for release on the PlayStation 3. Unsurprisingly, both games retained their Mature ratings. The two rereleases will likely be a part of the PSN's newly minted PS2 Classics program, which launched in October. The best of the PS2-era GTAs, San Andreas, is conspicuously missing for the list, so it probably won't make this first batch of releases, if Rockstar intends to bring it to the PSN at all. Gameranx

No word on San Andreas yet :(

Those will probably be the first PS2 classic games I buy... I keep looking at Godhand.. But I dunno man..

Suprisingly, Vice City was my favorite GTA in the series. This, FFX, and Silent Hill 2,3 MGS Collection are must have for me. After I finish Skyrim which is superb on its own.

With no SA it had better be a budget title @ $30-$40 max.

If it's not an HD release then i dont care. I already have them for PS2 and my PS3 is the 60gb so i can already play them whenever i want.

Kind of disappointed to see San Andreas left out, and that they won't be HD remakes. Oh well, still might be worth checking out for me since I didn't play Vice City a whole lot, and never played GTA3.

they could have at least made them HD remakes for pete sakes. Honestly, how lazy and generic is that, to just push out the original product on both consoles that do HD? Not only that but they leave out SA, which to me at least was my favorite of the series. I am not into gang stuff at all, but it was easily the best out of them all.

I kinda doubt that they will ever do an HD release of all 3 games since they are pretty huge and it would take a ton of work. If they did do HD, it would likely be one at a time but, if they did i think i would still buy them if they fixed all the glitches and graphic problems the games had.
