Yea and with extra time the PS3 version will be better than it is righ tnow probably... I doubt MS did anything with this. Trying to combat MGS4 with a game ALSO on PS3 amkes no sense
MGS4 and GTA4 are two different games. It would of been more understandable if you said "they paid rockstar to hold its production, so they can have better sells for Halo3."

I don't think this has anything to do with Microsoft. I think this has EVERYTHING to do with sales. There are so many big games coming out in Fall/Winter 2007 that it could seriously hurt sales of the game. By releasing in 2008, the game will be much better. I now expect the PS3 version of this game to be every bit as good as the 360 version, if not better.

This hurts MS just as much as it does Sony. Maybe even more since they shelled out $50 mill for DL content that was suppose to hit in March. The only ones laughing to the bank on this news is Nintendo....

Why would MS do that? That actually hurts Microsoft because their push for this upcoming holiday season was that you can play Halo 3, Madden 08, and GTAIV. So No, MS had nothing to do with the delay.

The reason, the cell takes a long time to develop for. I dont think rockstar wants a timed exclusive for the xbox 360 either.
I think the real reason for the delay is b/c the game is so huge that rockstar is having trouble with the core syste on the xbox360 that the ps3 has a hard drive on each console is makin it harder for rockstar to put that game out on the core unless u have a harddrive.
doubt it, microsoft needs GTA IV to have there super holiday line up they talked about, and besides GTA IV will come out a month or two after MGS 4 so that's a weak conclusion
Another reason MS didint do it: Didn't they always say stuff like" 360 is the only place you can get Madde, GTA, and Halo this holiday"? It being delayed ruins that whole idea for them.

doubt it, many games were delayed on the ps3 already. most the time they get released to the 360 first, sony wont let this happen with gta.
