GTA4 - How Do I Dial 911?

Hey guys,

I'm stuck on a mission that is really bugging me. It is early in the game and it is a Brucie mission. I am suppose to steal a cop car, and hunt down this guy. I have the hardest time getting a cop car without a high wanted level.

The game tells me to dial 911, but I've tried every button and I can't figure out how to dial a phone number. Half of the phone is cut off on my screen too.

Up to bring the cell phone up, Up again to bring up the dial numbers.

first press 9, then press 1, then press 1 againAJC3317

ON the way back to the first safehouse on that same street, there is always a cop car parked there in front of the cop station. Walk up to it. Look around, if there are no cops, just steal that one.
