I'm trying to get this trophy and I can't get the email from Dwayne. I'm at 31 hours and 93% completion and still no email from him. Can't remember if it's a waiting game or if I'm doing something wrong. Any info or tips is appreciated.

You don't need to be a friend with Dwayne for that trophy. You only need Little Jacob, Packie, Lawchick, Sobohoe and Brucie.
You're probably out of luck. He should've emailed/called a long time ago.
If you delete your emails regularly, it's possible you may have unwittingly deleted his before replying, thus preventing you from getting a call from him. Or maybe your game simply ran into a glitch.
I know it's a pain in the ass, but if you have any previous saves from that far back, try reloading one and play through the Playboy/Dwayne missions again to see if you get the same result.

Thanks for the info, guys. I'm trying it with sobohoe. I've got the rest. I don't have any saves that go that far back. Worst case scenario I have to start a new game and bust @$$ to the Holland Play. I think it only took me 7 or 8 hours to get to that mission.

Ehm, Dwayne, Playboy, Roman and Packies sister can't become friend with you in any way because the devs have of course taken into consideration that some of them won't make it to the end.
