GTA4 or Saints Row 2?

Which is better in terms of gameplay? I can't decide which to get. I don't buy 2 different games with almost the same style.

Get SR2 for idiotic and very stupid fun.

GTA4 has a depressing storyline and doesn't have as many robust; funny characters as the previous GTA games.
