Yeah, I prefer the normal 3D view. PSPs produce decent 3D graphics so they should have made it 3D wheras the DS graphics on 3D is a joke.
I think its perfect the way it is. I don't want GTA:LCS remake. Atleast this is something a little different. We need a break from all these Liberty City rehashes and yes, GTAIV felt like a rehash...what a step back :x

ive been playin it on my psp go and I think it looks and plays great. I like it alot and the retro view is refreshing. My GF likes it alot also as I let her play my game from time to time
The game looks and plays great. In fact, if I remember correctly, one Rockstar employee posted on the Playstation blog that CW uses more polygons than LCS/VCS. I've spent several hours just running drugs- it's addicting. My only complaint is that I feel like Rockstar should've added a little more to the package. Either they should've had full voicework for cutscenes or just let us use custom music in the cars.
You might as well (If you have one) get it for the DS. If you want better graphics than you can go for the PSP version. I'd prefer the regular view like they have for GTA LCS and VCS. The view is what keeps me from getting this game.

I like the retro view cuz I grew up with GTA on the PS1 and this is almost exactly like that so the re-vamp is kinda refreshing. I think as a PSP game it could have had a bit more content. Voice acting, some more exclusive content, and maybe a tad bit higher resolution on character models. Overall these are small complaints in the bigger picture. I give it a 9/10.

It doesn't have voice acting and it's on the psp? *shaking head* Come on R*. I can see if they did that on the DS but the psp. I don't have neither one of them but the DS version looks like it pwns the psp version when it comes to those mini games. Why I say that is because you got buttons against touch screen and it looks more fun with the touch screen. Button mashing isn't bad but I think it would be more fun with the touch screen. So I think I might dust off my ole fat DS because I'm thinking about getting the DS version.
They did that view so it feels more like a portable GTA, now im sure we all agree the other GTAs were just fine but they had their flaws (alot) so they gave us something that might work a little bit better and hey its a darn good game to me. (Im still waiting for a GTA:SAS)
I know what you mean (but its not driving me crazy) but as long as its a GTA game and it plays good and im having fun its alright with me as long as I know the game is doing its job which is being fun.
