GTAIV Rampaging Impossible?

After hearing that the AI in GTA has been vastly improved, such as cops accually trying to take you down. Also how civilians will call the cops on you if have your gun out. So with all that said do you think that it will be impossible to go on a really big rampage (5stars) for a decent amount of time? Or is my favourite past-time a thing of the past.nwarrior89

I don't think you have anything to worry about, just have to play the game and figure it out. Finally it will be a challenge, have to strategicly try and go on a rampage. You will eventually figure it out, but at first it will be a little tough.

I like the idea of peds calling the cops if you have out a weapon!heyheydoh

That is a pretty nice touch. I always felt that was one of the areas that was lacking in the series. (On the contrary, I enjoyed the Getaway more because of (what I felt) was a tighter Law enforcement system. Felt more realistic that way)

ive read somewhere it its supposed to be harder to do a rampage.

haha yah i know! if i wasnt so hyped about the game i probably wouldnt buy it

i mean rampaging was the whole reason i bought the games before...like wen i was frustrated with another one of my games i would pop in gta vice city and splatter some blood and like get up to like 5 stars... u know pull up a tank and turn on low gravity, then turn the cannon around and hey! u have a flying tank! haha only in gta! *sigh* good ol days...

cant wait for this game tho it sound like we would actually have to stratagise in order to rampage and i think tht is gonna be awesome!

Well traditionally people go on their rampage with cheats anyway, so that would be your great friend.

Gamefaqs > GTA IV > Cheats > Have fun

Although I'll play through it without cheats first time :lol:

i personally never cheat, especially in GTA games. most of the time, if you hole yourself up in a dark corner and commit endless hours, you can find all the hidden items and side missions which unlock all the weapons, health respawns, body armour etc and you dont need to cheat.

plus im pretty sure, going back to like GTA 3 or Vice City, if you cheated you couldnt ever get 100%. I think its one of those two.

Anyways i cant wait for this game, San Andreas is still my favourite and probably most played game today, the PC version though as there are countless mods and new vehicles etc for it.

I feel like all this realism is sucking the fun out of GTA, but we'll see...
