Guess the Elder Scrolls PSP game has been scrapped?

I didnt evan know there was gonna be an elder scrolls psp game

Yeah, they scrapped it more than a year ago. Its a shame, I wanted to get it.

They should at least "officially" announce it.

I think some has some "faint hope" that it would be released. These guys might be the ones who will be experiencing "slow lingering" deaths.

I honestly don't see what benefit the publisher/developer gets from not giving a simple, straight answer on this. If the game is dead, how is it in anyone's interest to not just say so?xaos

Who wants to play Oblivion Now. It's very likely the new one could come out this year on 360/PS3.

BUT WAIT! They can slap a new title on this old game and release it, and no one would be the wiser.

Some developers are very shy about their failures, especially after they've spent time and money hyping them up as something more. They figure it's better for the game to be forgotten about than to have a news cycle crammed full of "Bethesda cancels Oblivion PSP" headlines. I'm not saying that Oblivion PSP was canned, or that it was an overly ambitious failure of a game that attempted to capitalize on a hit game but fell apart when they gutted what people liked about the original to cram it onto the system and then couldn't be bothered to spend the time or money to improve it because Sony's own PSP support has been pretty tepid at best and they already wrote the system off as an also-ran and abandoned the installed base of millions and millions of gamers suckered into buying the expensive, under-supported, and haphazardly marketed handheld. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying things like this will probably reinforce the stance of hypothetical frustrated and bitter PSP owners who would probably say things like that already.
