Guitar Compatibility

okay i plan to buy

Guitar Hero World Tour / Guitar Hero Metallica / Guitar Hero 5 / Rock Band / Rock Band 2 / The Beatles Rock Band

Im wondering which guitar would be best to buy to play those games?

please dont just say any one of em please let me kno if you have tried a certain guitar with the following game or gamesu kno etc. ty

i dunno which guitar is best or if all guitars work now or not..

Think it's only up to world tour though.

I'm pretty certain most guitar hero guitars will work on the rock band games but not all rockband stuff works on guitar hero.

nearly 3 months ago i bought the world tour guitar kit,worked great until about 2 weeks ago,i couldnt strum down on it -_-,opened it up,couldnt see anything wrong,so i went and bought the GH3 game and guitar,the guitart works well,the strumming mechanism is better and more reliable than world tour,the guitars from GH3 and GHWT are cross compatible on all the guitar games i believe,the rockband guitars arent though =[

apparently the GH5 guitar is cross compatible across all,and the strum mechanism is the same as GH3,so i believe its the best out right now =]

The ghwt guitar is prolly the worst. I've had a few that gotten broken strum bars soo quickly. There is a quick fix for it though. You can open up the guitar and bend the switch corresponding to up or down near the tip. I've done this with two guitars and they work fine now.
