Guitar Hero 3 Outfit Styles

Ok i guess im just stupid or tired form playing GH3 last two days as long as my body could handlw it. So I cleared EAsy and Medium and the decided to go customize my character a bit. Long story short I got a style for one of my guys but for the life of me cant see how to make it show on him. I got the Skeleton style for the spikes outfit. Cant make it show. Any1 enlighten me?

Okay, choose career and a difficulty. Then, select the mohawk dude. A new screen pops up where your character shows up on the right, and a menu on the left with options like Play Now, Change Character, Change Guitar, Change Outfit, Store, etc. Select the outfit option and scroll. Taa-daa!

Edit: bleh; got it working. You pick an outfit, and then STYLES are like color swatches for that outfit. So one outfit can have multiple styles. I picked Elroy, and then the Kingmaker outfit, and it finally gave me a list of the styles for that Kingmaker outfit (I'm using the Tijuana style).

So it DOES work! I've had a few weird little tiny problems with the ps2 version anyway, so I guess it should've been expected (the controller didn't work at first and doesn't seem to want to work in the 1p jack!)
