it no longer GH, GH is now dead to me. which is sad because i was looking forward to GH4 but now that they added drums and vocals its just a total but**** to the fans imo. its called GUITAR HERO! not BAND HERO, this is just a blatent ripoff of Rockband (which i love) but they better keep the price at 100 dollars or i'm not buying it, especially when those greedy ******* make 2 games a year!
**** Guitar Hero, **** Activision, **** Neversoft, Harmonix FTW!
lol but if they didn't buy the series Harmonix would still be making Guitar Hero and there would be no Rock Band. I like that Harmonix has departed onto bigger and much better things. Long live rock band, until they get bought out and harmonix has to create the next ebst thing again.New title:
"GH4: because we ****ed up buying this series and not RB"

This is late. They were already beaten to the holy grail. I have Rockband and I would only buy this game if I could use the instruments I already have to play this game. I would have even gotten Guitar Hero 3 if the guitars were compatible but nooooo. Seriously, GH makes me sick.

on ign.com it says you can uplaod a song and play it but no vocals
lol this site says it adds Drums, Vocals, Creat a song then when u read it says no vocals lol effin stoopid
thats would be o cool if they did that but its a ''rumor'' i hope its true
they're doing it cus of copyright issues. Honestly they should have taken out the upload feature and added back in vocals for create your own songs so we could do any song we wanted, without providing access to it for others.on ign.com it says you can uplaod a song and play it but no vocals

I was trying to find the old post from gamespot, but Harmonix has already announced that they are working on a program that will let users upload songs and the game will automatically create a pattern for it. They are planning on using it for Rock Band 2. The article stated that they were testing it out with Apple for use on the iPod's. Red Octane beat them to the punch on rolling it out, but it sounds like Harmonix does have the upper hand, depending on how you look at it. Red Octane allows you to create your own song, but you have to do the pattern yourself. Harmonix is going to do it for you. jayblack138I dont know if i like this Auto-detect for the notes idea that your talking about. If it works well then all for it, but i just dont see it working very well. As long as they give people the option to tweak it any way they want, then itll be great no matt what!

yeah, i don't see any way that this'll work, the notecharts will be half4553d if its auto, if they let people create them then it'll take forever on a console to do it, they should just let you use the Frets on Fire packs from PC, boom, there's like 600 songs right there.
