I've just completed Half Life 2 Ep2 from the Orange Box, I have to say what a trip the whole game has been, I loved the original Half Life, but playing through Half Life 2 then ep1 then ep2 all in a row has left me wanting more it says on the box that ep1 is the first of a trilogy can any1 tell me what is the third part and is it coming out on ps3, the ending of ep2 has left me on a cliff hanger and I need to finish my mission lol
Valve did say they were going to take as much time it was needed to make third ep but yes there will be one. In fact, a few days ago they released a few conceptual art images for the game. I enjoyed the story as well. The idea of it being at E3 is up in the air but I'm certainly hoping for it. EP3 will also be large enough to be its own standalone game (not to say 1-2 were not), but the third installment was reitereated that it has a lot more story to convey then the others did, so it may encompass more.
