Halo + Bioshock = Haze!!!!!

i saw a video of haze on ign.com and everything about it either shouted halo 2 or bioshock. honestly, i think it could be the halo killer, but people have made amny failed claims like that. i hope this one doesnt let me down.

HALO: play as 2 sides, rifle looks the same, vehicles, halo-style fps play, online play = AWESOME

BIOSHOCK: take drugs to give yourself super powers

HAZE: everything else that sets it aside from these 2 games

I dont understand what's so special about Halo. it has a good story to it.... but what else? There was no innovation really with halo... halo 3 doesnt seem to differ much from halo 2 except for graphics (at least from all the trailers and stuff). I also find halo has too much HUD, whereas Haze has very minimal. I think Halo has too much hype, and the fans of the series won't admit when something is a let down. That's just my opinion...

Halo is popular because of its accessible multiplayer. The huge fans of the series will tell you that its because of the story and single player campaign but thats just the nerds on here. The predominant number of people who buy the game are casuals who either don't care about the story/campaign or don't know enough about videogames to determine whether or not it is any good. Halo's campaign is repetitive and uninspiring. The developers did cheap things to extend the length of the games as well. And the enemy variety is sadly lacking.

The multiplayer however is outstanding. Some of the maps are boring but for every crappy one you have a good one like Sidewinder. The reason the multiplayer is good is because of the balance and implementation of vehicles. In the original Halo (depending on the map), you could flat out own with just the pistol. You give someone the Battle Rifle in the Halo 2 and its the same thing. Plus you can do amazing things with the sniper rifle because the reticle turns red when an enemy is in your site and it also fires accurately from the hip, so you can easily no-scope other players. And yeah it has some cheap weapons, but every FPS does.
