Hey,

I used to love playing Halo on Xbox live. I played Halo 2 all the time, and Halo 3 when it came out. I don't have an Xbox 360 anymore, and I have had a PS3 for a while. I have yet to play another game online that plays like Halo does. Halo seems to give you so much control and simplicity online. I want a game for PS3 that plays online like Halo 3 on Xbox Live. Is there any game that does this for PS3?

-Thanks

I know what you mean. The Halo multiplayer really shines in it's simplicity and ease of use. Also it has splitscreen online and a nice forge mode. There is no other game with a multiplayer mode similar to it unfortunately. Warhawk is great but it is a vastly different experience.

that was an unecessarily aggressive answer man... Halo isn´t boring it is very cool actually.

and if you are looking for titles that are somewhat smilar, i´d check REsistance (more run and gun like halo somewhat) and obviously Killzone 2.

cheers!

I guess it's because Halo is a rather easy game to pick up and play?

Try KillZone 2 or Resistance. They're pretty simple and pretty fun.

Hey,

I have Resistance 1 and 2. I play R2 online. It is pretty fun. I just found it a little awkward. I may buy Killzone 2.

-Thanks

Yeah, there is just something about Halo's multiplayer that is yet to be matched anywhere. It's at once arcade-like and strategic. Very balanced, great level design, fun badges to earn. I would love if the PS3 answered Halo somehow.

If you want a sci-fi shooter, Haze is one.

I honestly don't get why more don't add the "split screen' on-line element to their games. It's really one of the funnest parts about Halo....honestly if Halo didn't have split screen online, none of my friends would play it while at college. That feature alone allows us to be competative with other players while hanging out. Sometimes 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 is BORING. But all being on the same team or everyone competing in the same game match is a ton of fun.

Why don't more games do this??

Resistance 2 without the colourful graphics, good music and vehicles. It's pretty much HALO.

hey i know were u come from im a hardcore halo player myself but the game i found closest to halo was probably resistance 2, its a good game and killzone 2 is pretty good too but resistance has better story and monsters and stuff like that like halo does. but the online mp for resistance is kinda whack cuz everyone uses the wraith lol.. :/ but u should try both of them out!

yea i know right! resistance 2 does this though doesnt it?? i know it has co-op singleplayer. nothing beats u and 3 friends on one big screen playing online or just u and another friend doing split screen online :)

Timeshift is kind of like Halo, although I'd imagine the community is dead by now...

I've recently sold my 360 to my sister, along with Halo Reach. I was tired of paying for online, and there's only a couple of games coming out that I want on the 360 this year. I was also wondering what games are like Halos multiplayer. I've been googeling like crazy and I've seen Haze, Resistance 2, Lost Planet 2, and Killzone 2-3. My friend doesn't like realistic games like CODBO, Crysis 2, or Homefront (in regards to only taking a 2-3 shots then dying). I'm really wanting a game where he and I can both play online and have a somewhat halo-ish experience. Also, it has to have people playing online. It would suck if we were the only 2 playing.
