So its finally come to that point where I've realized, I need to get a new hard drive. Just 17GBs left and with DMC4 coming out in about 2 weeks (and taking another 5GBs with it) I know i need to upgrade. Now i just need help figuring out what i need and how to do it. First of, I know i need to backup my memory into an external hard drive but I dont have one so I was wondering if you could tell me where is a good place to buy one? Secondly, I'm looking for a 120-180GB hard drive and again, not sure where to buy one. Would appreciate the help with the info on the hard drive stuff.

i dont. DMC4 installs itself on your hard drive to remove virtually all loading screens. the only games i "have" on my PS3 are PSN games (Stardust, Pixeljunk Monsters, Eyecreate, Super Puzzle Fighter, LocoRoco, Spyro, etc)

www.newegg.com They have some. You need a 2.5 inch SATA hd (notebook hd) to use as an internal hd replacement. 5400rpm is better as it doesn't heat up as much and from what I gather from other online forums and tutorials the performance difference between 5400 and 7200 rpm is not noticeable enough to warrant increased heat. I bought a 320gb western digital, some people have seagate barracuda's. The biggest I had seen when I got mine was 320gb but there are bigger out there now. I bought my from a computer online store because it was cheapest there and I knew what I was looking for.

Question-Is there any way to transfer data when you upgrade, or do lose all your data?
