I know this is old news but help a guy out ya???

Say im gna buy a brand new ps3 and swap the hard drive b4 starting the beast, is that okay?? orcan i only change the hard drive after i used the ps3 with the original hard drive that it came with?....THANX

To answer your question, yes - you can do it either way. You can play for as long as you want and then upgrade to new hard-drive or you can do it right away.

The one good advantage of doing it earlier is you won't have to transfer old files (music, movies, game saves, etc) but either way backup utility is fast and easy to use.

If you're not thinking about it right now, you can upgrade later on.

Yeah you can do that, I'd say it's better to do it now so you won't have to transfer any other files.
