Sorry for another one of these threads, but I just need a small clarification. I want to upgrade my hard drive to a 500GB, and I know it needs to be a 2.5", 5400RPM drive, but are there any other specs? What the difference in GB/s or cache?

I found this one, would this suffice?

It's perfect. Also, you could use a 7200RPM drive, it's just not really recommended.

No problem! It's funny, I was actually looking at hard-drives on Amazon when I noticed your thread. I'm looking to do exactly the same thing.

Well, Amazon has that exact hard drive for $60 right now, which seems like a good deal.

also just to note keep the old HDD, my PS3 just bit the dust and they give you an option to trade it for a slim i had a 60GB launch. But i needed the original HDD which i cant locate after moving twice lately. So just keep that in mind
