Hard October Choices

I'm not really sure what to get next month, there's Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 I really don't know game I'll get first.

Myb ill get my mom to buy me another game. Maybe Borderlands or LBP

I'm definitely getting Fallout 3. I'm not too excited about the other ones you listed.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is pre-ordered and paid for as is Fallout 3 Game of The Year Edition. I'm skeptical about Borderlands so I'll gun it on GameFly. The toughest decision I'm going to be making in October is what me and my fiancé are going to be for Halloween.

I have all coming on your list except Fall Out 3 because I don't like it.

I'm thanking the heavens my birthday is in October, and Uncharted 2 actually comes out on my birthday, so my girlfriend is buying me that :P. I'll probably pick up Fallout 3 GOTY and Borderlands too. I'll wait to get A Crack In Time because I havent finished Quest For Booty yet. Also tempted to check out Agarest: Generations Of War. As for Demon's Souls, it's not out here until next year, so I'll get it then, and Brutal Legend, I'm not really interested.havokmaster

I'm assuming you're from the EU as am I... but I've heard no news of an offical release date yet. If you've got a link to back this up could you let me know because I really want Demon's Souls but have had terrible experience with importing games... so I'd rather wait until its proper release.

As for the games I'll be getting this October, Uncharted 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Tekken 6 and Agarest: Generations of War are all must buys for me. (Or perhaps I'll leave one and get it as an Xmas present, not sure yet)

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to import Demons Souls or wait for an EU release. Same goes for the GOW collection, I may wait until closer to God of War 3.

This is off topic but we must have a nearly identical taste in games- aside from Agarest: Generations of War (whatever that is :P ) I'm buying the exact same games as you in October.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to import Demons Souls or wait for an EU release. Same goes for the GOW collection, I may wait until closer to God of War 3.

Well Agarest: Generations of War is an SRPG a lot like Disgaea, and since I bought Disgaea 3 and LOVED it, (one of my favourite games this generation) I'm going to have to pick up Agarest. Plus, I like supporting 'niche' games. :P

Ya this upcoming month has so many great games it'll be hard to choose between them, i narrowed my list to three:

1. Demon Souls

2. Fallout 3 GOTY

3. Uncharted 2

I may do.....problem is there's even more games I want in early 2010 than the rest of 2009. I found a good deal for the deluxe edition of Demons Souls-

borderlands i cant trust anymore

i have uncharted 2 pre-ordered. I will rent Operation flashpoint and Demon Souls to see if I will like them.

I already have U2, DS and RC CIT pre-ordered and looking for a good price on Boderlands to pre-order it. Not interested in any of the games the TC listed. These will probably be my last purchases for the PS3 this year as nothing else interests me the rest of the year.

My hard choice is that I am not buying ANYTHING. I really need to save money and only Modern Warfare 2 is getting my money this year.

Ill be getting:

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

Demons Souls

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

For Me It's Uncharted 2, Smackdown Vs Raw 2010, Ratchet And Clank ACIT, And Maybe Tekken 6

Those 6 games are all potential buys for me. I'm definitely getting Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, Borderlands (360 version), and Ratchet and Clank as soon as they release.

I'm going to wait for Fallout 3 GOTY until Christmas. Brutal Legend on the other hand I kind of want, but I'm going to pass on it for now. My friend told me he has a friend who works for EA and can get me the game for 20 bucks, so I hope he can pull through for me. I don't mind paying 20 bucks for the game.

October is going to be an exceptional month for game releases. Do like me and look at the bright side; You wont have to wonder too hard about what games to get in the following months. :D

I'm getting FIFA 10 and Uncharted 2. I'm leaving Fallout 3 GOTY a few months

I will probably pick up Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank in October. Demon's Souls I will buy later, Fallout 3 GOTY edition I will pick up during the holidays, and Brutal Legend doesn't appeal to me in the least bit.

The only game I'm remotely interesting in purchasing at this moment is Tekken 6. Sure there's plenty of other games I'm looking forward to this month but that's why I have a birthday in November then Christmas, plus it helps my wife enjoys videogames as much as myself. Then comes Tax Return season...*sigh* it pays to have kids :P ;)

The games in October I'm gonna get are Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank: ACIT. Other games I'm gonna get are Cod:MW2, GOW collection, GOW 3 and that should last me til next summer.

I originally had a much bigger list, but I have decided to narrow it down and put a few off. I'll only be picking up Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and Uncharted 2 in October. As for November, all I plan to pick up is Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed 2. In December, I'll probably just hold out until the new year rolls around, as Q1 2010 is slammed with games I want.

I will be getting Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, Fallout GOTY, Borderlands and Ratchett and Clank in October. All of these are pre-ordered and can't get here soon enough!!

Well since I already have Demons souls (English Chinese version) Im set on that, already logged in 150 hours or so into it (seriously). So far this year I have picked up: Infamous, Killzone 2, Valkyria Chronicles (for 20) Batman AA, MUA2, Red Faction Guerilla, SF4, RE5, Blazblue.

Now I am getting NBA 2k10, Uncharted 2, and Tekken 6 in October, and DBZ Raging Blast and Modern Warefare 2 by the end of this year! A LOT of GAMES, I mean, I have spent a lot on gaming. I have 39 games for the PS3 now, and I am going into the end of my 4th year in college. If I were the guy who started the thread, I would definitely NOT miss out on Uncharted 2 or Demons souls(which he said he preordered). The rest is really up to him(or I guess all of the choice is really).

well, I am getting Uncharted 2 (love the beta) and probably ratchet and clank. i want borderlands but i will wait cuz i have to get a few games in Nov. (modern warfare 2 and assassins creed 2)...

So I am going to the store to finalize my October pre-orders on Tuesday. There were six games I wanted Demons Souls (already pre-ordered) Uncharted 2 Brutal Legend Ratchet and Clank Borderlands Fallout 3 GOTY Sadly Uncharted and Brutal Legend have not the made cut. I can't remember another month where so many apparent must buys were released. I also can't think of another month when a 300 dollar budget couldn't get me every game I wanted. So the question posed is.... What are the hard October choices you will be making? Feel free to include movies, Halloween dillemas, and girl decisions. In short any anxiety fueled choice coming up. Of course, the video game dilemmas are the ones I'm extra curious about.edthetinker
