GH on expert.
cramped hands=tons o' fun!
Ninja Gaiden SigmataplokThat's what I was going to say. But if you think Sigma was hard, try playing the original on Xbox. It's even worse. I've never been a controller thrower, but that game changed me...
This is a good one. Old School Zelda, nintendo. SamuRai_JeDi
Old school Zelda is easy. Zelda 2. I had no clue wtf I was doing or had to do in that game...
Pretty much all ninja gaiden games, all generations are a total pain in the ass to beat. I enjoy challenging games, but games that are just unrelentingly difficult because the camera sucks(Sigma) and buttloads of enemies(All of the games in the series) can be a little too much. And I walked through Contra with ease.
Devil May Cry 3(original version). May not be the hardest game ive played but it was the hardest game ive played before it was no fun.Dirty3rdTexMe too. Hard enough to be good and satisfying. You have to be GOOD at this game, a lot of things games don't do nowadays.
Sorry to say PS3 homies but the best game ever on the hardest setting for me was non other than Pefect Dark Zero.It out matches ever other game I have played on the higest settings. Some runner ups are
Hardest Game I've played that was still fun? going back to the oldskool, gunna say Blaster Master for NES. nigh impossible to beat but very fun.
Hardest Game that pretended to be fun but just ended up getting me frustrated? Myst.
The original Ninja Gaiden for the NES. That stuff is impossible, even with the GameGenie.hazelnutman
I have to agree. Bad Dudes on hard setting was also trying but fun.
@Someone said COD WAW on veteran
Yeah it was extremely hard where it got to the point of being frustrated. It def. wasn't fun but i still tried for the trophies haha...
Gears of war? Nevermind, I'm gonna get flamed.
Ninja Gaiden sigma, CoD4 on veteran, MGS4 for the first time(big boss hard), and CoD2 and company of heroes on the PC.
Anybody who flames you for saying a game that is on a different console is an idiot.Dude say what you want.I listed a whole list of games that I played on the 360.Gears of war was extremly fun on Insane, especially when you have a good partner with you.Gears of war? Nevermind, I'm gonna get flamed.

You can download it online somewhere, completely forget where though. You get unlimited lives so its all good. Its sooo annoying and tough though.rsoxguy12
That version of Super Mario looks like it redefines pain. I wouldn't have much patience after the 3rd or 4th death. Is it a Japanese game, or was it some kind of special edition type of thing?
On topic however, Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the current one for me, never had trouble with the NES games but this one pushing it's luck with me.
Devil may cry 3 on ps2 by far. I bought the special edition so it had gold mode available but I chose yellow instead. Normal for NA was hard for japan. If you died even once and had no yellow orb it was back to beginning. Once I got the hang of it though the game got owned but it was a very steep learning curve.
Then ikaruga and just about any shumps if you play em on hard.

not without the code you didn't! If you beat it without the code then and only then can you make that statement! for me maybe kidicurus(SP?) or Super Mario Bros. (i've never beat it and yet I've played that game so many times). . . Oh wait there is this game called Zanac for the NES one of my favorite games for the nintendo.Battletoads, R-Type, Ninja Gaiden, and Ghosts n Goblins are all some of the hardest games I've ever actually still enjoyed after tearing out fistfuls of my hair. raven_squadBATTLETOADS! hell yeah! and battletoads vs Double Dragon those games made me so mad.
fighting silver on sonic the hedgegog on ps3 haha he was soo cheezy with his one psychic move lol.

Yeah, versus Double Dragon wasnt quite as tough imo, but still aneurysm worthy. Still say they need to make a new Battletoads...
