hardest games in last 10 years?

Whats your list of the hardest games you have played that have come out in the last 10 years?

DMC3 and Demon's Souls.

I don't go out of my way to play difficult games though.

Well even though I haven't played it yet, I have heard some really horrible stories on just how hard Demon Souls is so my vote goes to that game.

DMC3 was very difficult borderline insane. Waiting to play Demons Souls.

Ninja Gaiden 2, hands down. I'm not very good at games, but I couldn't even beat the second boss on that game. magera21

lol i finished the game when i still had a 360. it's not that hard. i mean, it was hard. but not THAT hard. you just have to have some patience. and dodge or block often. at first i died so many times when i popped in the disc, but once you got the hang of it, it's really enjoyable. especially if you got that weapon (i forgot) like a mace. luna or lunar something. it was a beast. i even used it more than the scythe and the dragon sword.

i'd say Demon's Souls. as you get better, you'll see the patterns. but the learning curve is almost a straight vertical line. it's THAT steep lol.

and please, no 'X game on hard mode' that's probably the stupidest thing. if anyone asked, "what is the easiest game ever made?" would you go, 'X game on Easy mode'? lol. i just hate those things. like if your friend asked you, 'hey, is X game hard?' and you'd go, 'yea, if it's in Hard mode.' huh.

In terms of sheer frustration though, I have to give Dead or Alive 4's single player the crown.

I don't like hard games, but the PS3 ones that I didn't enjoy were - Turok and Jericho

i love hard games... makes beating them that more enjoyable. Sometimes though gotta take a break or will break something haha.

trying to be stealthy on mgs4 on big boss difficulty. i suck at stealth. glad they give you ample firepower :P

Menalque2 had the only respectable responce so far, everything else was horrible.

For Kids: New Super Mario Bros.

For newbies: any Call of Duty on veteran

For old people: Wii Fit Resort

For hardcore: Demon's Souls

For those wanting to be hardcore: Demon's Souls

Wipeout HD for me, i suck at racing games.

Demon's Souls is just right, like all games should be.

You know the little piece of plastic between the R1 and R2? I don't have that anymore, that's the only part ever I've raeg throwed a controller.

But the most brutal game ever to me is... FarCry PC? Yea. No sarcasm. Trigens= 2 hit kill, no health regen, few health packs.
