Hardest PS3 Platinum Trophies?

What are the toughest platinum trophies you've encountered? I like playing games with tough plats, easy platinums really ruin a trophy list IMO.

-Star Ocean 4

-Disgaea 3

-Unreal Tournament 3

-Bayonetta

.. just to name a few.

Wipeout HD

Far Cry 2

Out of those I'm playing right now probably World at War. I'm sure there are more difficult ones but I don't go for ridiculous trophies like be #1 of the world in an online game or something. Demon's Souls is high on my list, too, because you need some luck to actually get the right stuff to upgrade some of your weapons.nethernova

Demon Soul's isn't too hard, I'm just too lazy to figure out how to change my World Tendency correctly, lol, and the drops do need a lot of luck :/

Of all the games I've played, I'd say Star Ocean 4 has the hardest platinum. It's my favourite game but I know I'll never play that much !!

For me? Most of them. I am not a trophy hunter. So I will most likely never complete a game. And since most platinums require you to get all other trophies, I doubt I will ever get one. The only game I have ever completed was a 200GS arcade title on Xbox. ACx7

I feel abit better now :) I could never complete anything either, but now adays I'm better at games & even have a few (of the easiest) platinums :3

Try Killzone 2...That one is hard still haven gotten it lol...

From the ones I've played:

- Warhawk (both difficult and time consuming)
- Wipeout HD
- Mirror's Edge (particularly the speedruns and time trials)
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (also time-consuming)

It's not that I am not good at the games. It's that I don't look at the trophies and feel the need to go after all of them. I only completed Battlefield 1943 because I happened to get the achievements while playing. I am 84% complete on AC2. Maybe I will try and platinum that one.

Vanquish. Tactical Challenge 6 is the only reason I don't have the platinum yet.

I will never even go for Gran Turismo because you need to do the 24 hour endurance race, in real time....

That wouldn't be so terrible, I might have been willing to leave my PS3 on for a couple nights to do it if that was the last trophy needed and you just needed one 24 hour race. Except you have to do FOUR of those endurance races, 2 for A-spec, and 2 for B-sped. All of them 24 hours in real time, nevermind there are several shorter endurance races as well. It's too much of a grind just getting B-Spec anywhere close to level 40, throw in the endurance race and it's just a joke. The sad thing is those races are incredibly easy to win, if you have a fast enough car you'd probably win them by 30+ laps. It's just the GRINDING, the terrible terrible grinding.

Gran Turismo has the worst of all worlds. It has some genuinely difficult trophies, and probably some of the worst level grinding in history (referring to b-spec). It has to be the hardest platinum, save for the ones that are impossible due to broken or disconnected online modes.

With the exception of the rocket part, Bayonetta should be fairly easy to Platinum. Star Ocean 4 is definitely going to be the hardest. And even worst, SO4 isn't recognized by Raptr, or more specifically isn't reconized by PSN's US website which is what Raptr connects to.

There are lots of games that you'll never be able to platinum, due to either gltiches or more common, closed multiplayer servers.

Of the games I have, Socom Confrontation, Unreal Tournament 3, Resistance 2, Resonance of Fate, Motorstorm Apocalypse.

Vanquish. Tactical Challenge 6 is the only reason I don't have the platinum yet.

the AI was extremely cheap, i could be in one part where i cant continue until i finish the wave of enemies, and some enemies kill you in a few shots, i'm normally good in FPS's but this game is a different story, and i also couldnt stomach this game much longer due to how bad it was

MLB the show 09 and 10, cuz they shut down server, so you can never acquire its platinum trophies.

2010 winter olympics is also hard. many event are very hard to get trophies and no one is playing it online so you cant get online trophies as well.

imo, demon souls is easy...It can be done in 30 hours...you just need to find someone who would like to collect weapons with you, so it would save you a lot of time from collecting stones.

Have heard that fight night round 4 is one ruthless platinum. One trophy (XXL) requires you win the heavyweight championship belt online, which pretty much means being ranked first in the world.

There's this one challenge, the 5th one, where it's just...well, incredibly hard to survive. The rest of the trophies are easy, but right now, I'm truly ashamed to say this is one game I could not platinum. This is actually one of my greatest guilts in life (I know this sounds sad, but when I put my mind to something, but I keep failing at it, it will eventually become one of my greatest shames/guilts). I mean, I made it to one of the greatest universities up here in Canada, and in the program I wanted,,,but man, failing at a video game really sucks!

I dont think that easy Plats in general ruin a trophy list (Uncharted 2 and Fallout 3 also have easy plats), but games like Terminator or Hannah Montana.

On topic: Gran Turismo 5 has an impossible plat.

I platinumed MAG, it was my first and only platinum.

That was the hardest SOB took me about 4 months, I wanted to rip my eyeballs out.

GTA IV and WipeOut HD

GT5 is easily the hardest platinum unless you are a god.

You have to get gold on all challenges, races, and license tests and do all those endurance races.

Even if somebody was going to pay me to try and platinum that game this would be my response:

From my trophy list id have to say Wipeoout HD. GTA:IV gets an honorable mention.

edit: oh and add any game with online trophys which has a dead online community. Now thats frustrating.
