Hardware issues

Not sure whether this is the right place to ask about PS 3 issues.

So basically I bought a HDMI cable recently and use it on a 55'' SONY LCD TV and works perfectly fine and when I tried both given and HDMI cable on other TV's range from LCD to CRT my console did start up with a bluelight but doesnt load the start up screen (black)

Any ideas why is this happening?
